Key West, Florida, 2009: The latest battleground between champions of light and dark, a few even with memories of similar conflict from an alternative, future reality.

As a result of recent storm conditions, an ancient relic has washed up just offshore. Although covered in sediment, it lays in wait. Accessible only at low tide, but never seen, its influence flows and ebbs with the very tides around it, calling to those with knowledge and gifts most could never possess. Needless to say, it shall be only a matter of time before such extremes default to preying upon one another.
